Terms of use
These terms explain what you can expect from Nexus Classifieds and what we expect from every person who advertises, browses or transacts on the network. Please read them before posting; they are written in plain language deliberately, because a marketplace only works when the rules are understood by everyone using it.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, posting a listing, purchasing an upgrade or simply browsing the marketplace, you agree to these terms in full. If you are using Nexus Classifieds on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company. We may update these terms as the service changes, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to hold an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything posted through your account. Accounts are personal; selling, sharing or transferring an account is not permitted, and duplicate accounts created to bypass posting limits or a suspension will be removed.
3. Your listings
You warrant that you own or are authorised to sell everything you advertise, that your description and photographs are accurate, and that the transaction is lawful where both parties are located. You retain ownership of your content, and you grant Nexus Classifieds a non-exclusive licence to display, resize, index and syndicate it for the purpose of operating and promoting the marketplace.
4. Fees, upgrades and refunds
Local listings are free within the published daily limit. Global reach, promotion upgrades and banner campaigns are one-time charges for a fixed duration, quoted before you commit. Payments are settled manually through the accepted services and an order activates only once the transaction is confirmed. Orders that were never activated are refunded in full; delivered placements are not refundable, though credit may be issued where we removed a compliant listing in error.
5. Moderation and removal
We may edit the category of, decline, suspend or remove any listing that breaches the prohibited items policy, misleads buyers, duplicates existing content or exposes the marketplace to legal risk. We may also suspend accounts engaged in fraud, harassment or systematic abuse. Wherever practical we explain the reason and allow the listing to be corrected and resubmitted.
6. Transactions between users
Nexus Classifieds is a venue for advertising; we are not a party to any sale, rental, employment or service agreement formed through the site. We do not hold funds, verify goods, inspect property or screen employers. You are solely responsible for evaluating the other party, meeting safely, and complying with any tax, licensing or consumer protection obligations that apply to your dealings.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not scrape the site at scale, resell access, post malware or phishing links, misuse contact details harvested from listings, impersonate another person or business, or interfere with the operation and security of the platform. Automated posting tools and bulk republishing to evade posting limits are also prohibited.
8. Liability
The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Classifieds is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or any loss arising from a transaction between users. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Governing terms and contact
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Nexus Classifieds regarding use of the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Questions about this agreement should be sent to the support desk listed on the contact page, and we will respond within a reasonable period.
